Is It Still Raining?

I get it. You've been weathering this storm for days, weeks, maybe even months. You wonder if God even heard your last prayer. It's in these times that you may feel alone, abandoned, even hurt. God hasn't forgotten about you. He's actually right there with you.
Philippians 2:13 AMP says "For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure."
From this scripture, I grasped that when we continue to fight the storm it's because we know something better is coming. Your purpose can't be fulfilled without enduring pain. You can't see the light before the dark. Your strength may grow weary, tired, and worn out. In those times, it's God that's giving you the energy to endure the rain. That rain doesn't seem so bad when the rainbow starts to come. It doesn't seem so bad when the orders come in, when the clients start to book your schedule, or when you pay your bills and you can treat yourself. When you grow tired of the storm, pray to God for strength to endure it until your rainbow shines through.
James 1:14 AMP says "But each one is tempted when he is dragged away, enticed and baited [to commit sin] by his own [worldly] desire (lust, passion)."
The sunshine looks beautiful. It looks like all your troubles are over. It looks like easy money. It looks like putting your purpose aside for the easy way out. It looks like quitting in trying times. Nobody said life was going to be easy. Nobody said you were going to have everything you wanted by 30 or 25. Nobody told you God wasn't going to test you and still help you get the answers right. The sunshine looks good because it's better than your CURRENT SITUATION. KEYWORD CURRENT. You're going to reap your benefits soon. You're going to succeed soon. You're going to have what you prayed for last week soon. God's going to bless you SOON.
The only question is CAN YOU STAND THE RAIN?
