Let Me Reintroduce Myself

How many times have you had to introduce yourself to someone? You had to tell them all the generic details of your life. They didn't just peace together your upbringing or background just by glancing at you. You had to bring all that to their attention. What makes you think getting your website noticed is any different?

IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND READING "What to Avoid When Starting a Business" FIRST. THIS POST IS A CONTINUATION!

4. Your website can't speak for itself: You are the author of your brand. You are the author of what you make it. Your website is where clients and customers are "virtually" meeting you. They are looking to see your personality through your brand. If you don't use the right blend of SEO, keywords, CTA's, & more it's not going to attract your potential customers. If you're going to constantly promote your website, make sure you set the standard. It's speaking volumes for you!

5. Caring About Customers & Clients: Yes, both can be a pain, but they are the reason you are where you are right now! Ask yourself if what you're doing is serving their need, want, or solving a challenge. If it's doing one of the three then you're doing something right. Your business has to be more than money. If you want long term success, have a purpose and serve it well. Sometimes you might doubt what you're doing but that's the opportunity to take a look back at your WHY. Serving your customers and clients is serving you.

6. What Are You?: What is your business? No, seriously WHAT IS IT? Branding MATTERS. When a customer or client sees your business your brand should speak first. Your logo should grasp their attention. If you have a slogan, it should be simple and straight to the point. With our attention span getting shorter by the hour, no one wants to spend time "figuring you out" when they know someone who has established themselves. Building your brand to represent the work your showing is going to give your customers & clients a sense of completion, authenticity, and validation.
