"I thought that this movie was going to be another generic Pixar film where everything is so predictable, but I was wrong. Soul is a story of persistence, passion, and purpose. Joe Gardener had a craving for jazz. It's almost like wanting something so bad until you have it and it doesn't live up to those expectations you set. You hopelessly think everything is going to fall into place once you have what you've always dreamed about. Soul has a deeper message that I think anyone watching can relate to.
